Twelve year old Regina has been in our house for a year now. Together with her older sister Rose she came from Nguti, where they used to live together with their almost blind grandmother. One of their cousins has taken over the care of the grandmother. Regina is friendlu and she has a good contact with all the other children in the house. She likes being with the other children and staying in their own room talking and laughing. She is now getting better results in school, because she can put in more effort to her homework. Before she used to go to the woods during the nights, to find fruits which she could sell in the market. Now she doesn't have to do this no more, she can focus on her schoolwork.
